Sincere thanks to all who supported last weekend’s retiring collection the total raised was £1,625.04, plus £142.38 was raised from the coffee mornings. A cheque will be sent to the Ukrainian Catholic Church here in England who are distributing funds to the following charities: Caritas Ukraine, Red Cross Ukraine and Medicin Sans Frontiers who are assisting the people of Ukraine and those who have been displaced because of the war. Two very large loads of goods donated by you have been collected, are being sorted at a central point in Lincoln to be transported on to The Ukraine and distributed there and to those who have fled to neighbouring countries. The Lady Chapel will remain open during the coming week if you wish to leave donations. Please do continue to pray for peace in our continent of Europe.
